Today was check in day and I’m exhausted. I checked in at Vista Way at 9am and we got Chatham Square! So happy about that! :)
And after the rest of my new roommates arrived we decided to do the inevitable Walmart trip. Wow Walmart is huge! It was super overwhelming and I was so tired.
Traditions is on Friday and I’m so excited because it’s our first official day working and we can then go to the parks!
It’s just another quick update for now cause I’m about to fall asleep but I’ll do a post with more detail when I can :)
Feeling such a weird mix of emotions right now. I’ve said goodbye to my family and friends which was hard and I’m now just waiting to board my first flight out of 3 to Orlando.
I’m so excited, nervous and a bit sad (goodbyes of course). This is such a huge trip and I can’t wait to start at Disney.
My family and friends are the greatest though, I will miss them everyday but Skype is a lifesaver :)
I can’t wait to make new friendships though. It’s going to be great!
I will try to do a proper post about this whole trip in more detail when I have a chance.
When the Hercules – Zero to Hero Victory Parade rolled into Disney’s Hollywood Studios today back in 1997, it once and for all answered the question, “Who put the ‘glad’ in ‘gladiator’?” – it’s Hercules.
Coming in 2018 is Disney’s next fairy tale mythology animated feature film, set amongst the South Pacific islands, rendered in a ‘painterly-style CGI’ (think the Paperman short): and y’all are going to LOVE IT:
The main character will be Moana Waialiki, a sea voyaging enthusiast, and the only daughter of a chief in a long line of navigators. When her family needs her help, she sets off on an epic journey. The film will also include demi-gods and spirits taken from real mythology.
This is also currently being directed by Ron Clements and John Musker, the duo who directed The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Hercules and The Princess an the Frog! So there’s that
26 days! I can’t believe it’s now under a month until I fly to Florida and start at Disney.
I am trying to enjoy as much time as I can with my family and friends but also trying to work so I have enough money to sustain myself for the first few weeks. I was also hoping my car would last until January without any problems but it was not to be. We had to replace a major part in it so I still haven’t paid my health insurance :/ It will be paid by next Monday though, I hope.
But that’s it really for updates at the moment :)
